Privacy policy

1. Who controls your data

The data controller is MetroLink s.r.o. (trading as The MarketingIn), company ID 22642170, registered at Zámoraví 820, 763 61 Napajedla, Czech Republic, registered with the Regional Court in Brno, VAT registered. Contact: [email protected].

Because the company is established in the European Union, all processing follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), regardless of where you are located.

2. What I process and why

Enquiry forms

When you submit a form I process your first name, last name, email, phone number and anything you type into the form (company, website, budget, your question). The purpose is to answer your enquiry and discuss possible cooperation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You will receive a confirmation email after submitting.

Traffic measurement

The site records where visitors came from (which campaign or search engine) and whether they clicked the phone number, the email address or submitted a form. This essential measurement is anonymous and runs without consent on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) - without it I could not tell which channels produce enquiries. It uses first-party cookies (tmi_attr - 30 days, tmi_first_source - 90 days, tmi_consent - 90 days).

Optional cookies (consent only)

Analytics cookies produce anonymous traffic statistics. Marketing cookies measure advertising campaigns (Meta Pixel, Google Ads). Both activate only after you agree in the cookie bar, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

3. Who else touches the data

These processors and services are involved:

  • Cloudflare - website hosting and serverless functions,
  • internal CRM (crm.themarketingin.com) - enquiry records,
  • Brevo - sending confirmation and marketing emails,
  • Stripe - payments (card details go directly to Stripe; I never see them),
  • Google - reCAPTCHA (form spam protection) and, with consent, campaign measurement,
  • Meta - with consent, advertising measurement (Pixel / Conversions API).

Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

4. How long it is kept

Enquiry data is kept while we are discussing cooperation and for a maximum of three years after our last communication. Where a contract is concluded, accounting records are kept for the period required by law (typically ten years).

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz). To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
